MareTerra, specialty green coffee importer since 1978. Experts in single estate and certified geographic origin coffees, MareTerra has its head office in Barcelona, Spain. MareTerra specializes in coffees from Central America and Brazil, without forgetting (about) the coffees from Kenya, Ethiopia and India. Its main goal is to promote single origin coffees, serving as the link between the producer and the consumer, with the invaluable support of micro roasters and specialty coffee shops.

MareTerra started its activity in the business together with State Street Coffee in Nicaragua, a specialty coffee producer. State Street Coffee is closely related to our philosophy and pursues the consolidation and perseverance of a role model business, where natural, financial and human resources are in constant improvement. In this way, we guarantee above all a quality sustainable product. With this strategic alliance, MareTerra becomes a connoisseur in single origin coffees from Nicaragua, having a wide range of products coming from this country.

Subsequently, joint efforts with Daterra Coffee in Brazil were developed. Daterra is one of the finest and best known specialty coffee producers worldwide. Technology, investigation and special concern about the ecosystem are gathered together in order to attain constant sustainable quality typical of our coffees. We share and develop the same vision towards our products, procuring the sustainable management of each resource. Daterra Coffee guarantees a superior quality among Brazilian coffees.

Nowadays, MareTerra works with producers from Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and other origins, pursuing parameters similar to the ones described. MareTerra brings them the opportunity to evolve by developing together different projects, making a remarkable improvement in their agricultural and milling processes but mainly in their quality of life. Above all, MareTerra searches for quality and traceability in its coffees, where producers, clients and consumers will always be benefited.
